Yurt camp Aydar – Hotel in the Desert

Yurt Camp Aydar, located 10 km from the West Bank of Aydarkul Lake. There are 11 yurts in the camp, which are richly decorated with carpets and cloaks of local craftsmen.

The yurt camp is also equipped with stationary toilets, showers with plumbing devices, gazebos, a yurt cabin company, where lunch and dinner are held. There is electricity in the camp. In yurts it is possible to install heaters or fans and cots at the request of guests. There are three tandoor for making cakes, soms and lamb (tandoor kabob). Demonstration of cooking these dishes..

Camel riding and hiking: During the day, tourists stroll around the camp, refuting stereotypes about desert lifelessness. In the vicinity of the camp there are up to 25 species of plants, the animal world is also diverse: turtles, lizards, pigeons, desert partridges, hares. You can often see a giant monitor lizard and, of course, camels. Camels here are domesticated and trained for riding. Camels are bactrian and are called Bactrian. Distributed in Central Asia, China, Mongolia.

Camel rides and tracks from 2 to 10 days, as well as riding quad bikes and jeeps in the desert are possible. For lovers of hunting and fishing as well, everything you need will be provided.
Picnic lunch with a trip to the Aydarkul Lake and swimming on the lake (at the request of tourists):

Aydarkul Lake is a blue pearl among the sands of the Kyzyl Kum desert. Aydarkul is called a geographical miracle formed in the waterless Kyzylkum desert. There are a lot of fish in the lake: carp, pike perch, bream, catfish; birds – cormorants, herons, pelicans, ducks, swans, geese. Rare species of medicinal herbs and plants are found.
On the shore of Lake Aydarkul, a picnic is offered, which serves fried fish, several kinds of salads, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, seasonal fruits and mineral water; here you can relax, swim in its warm, slightly salty waters and sunbathe on the picturesque shore.

Dinner at the yurt camp:

Tourists can spend the evening around the campfire to the songs of the local akyn in a calm and peaceful atmosphere, admiring the bright stars and the milky way. You can observe the sky with our telescope. The sky away from cities is unusually transparent and clear !!! For dinner, we offer national dishes, 4 kinds of salads, fruits and oriental sweets. Ice cream in the hot season!

Sarmysh gorge excursion

On the way to the yurt camp, you can visit the “stone picture gallery” of an ancient man in the tract Sarmysh. Here on the black basalt rocks found more than 3 thousand drawings – petroglyphs depicting animals, people, scenes of hunting, life.

Excursion In Nurat. Here you can see irrigation systems – kyariz, still delivering groundwater to the valley from the Nurata Range.

Nurata is a small town with ancient history located between the Kyzyl Kum desert and the Nuratau mountain range. According to the historian Narshahi “Nur” (from the Arabic – “light”) is an ancient settlement. Around the town, there are many sources with crystal clear water, considered sacred. Fish that live in springs and ponds are also considered sacred; they are not eaten. This is a kind of trout – marinka.

You can also see the ruins of an ancient fortress. Once there was a garrison of Alexander, there are rooms for soldiers, a watchtower. Among the locals there are many blue-eyed, fair-haired, redheads, possibly descendants of the Turkic tribes or Greeks.
